Subject: DRS Notice 23-003, Roth Update for DCP Employers – Action Needed
Effective October 1, 2023, DCP will include a Roth option. Please complete the following actions based on your DCP payroll reporting.
Interactive reporting:
- Review the interactive reporting requirements document to determine readiness for implementation within your organization.
- Respond to these three questions to indicate your organization’s level of readiness for adding Roth to DCP on October 1, 2023.
Upload reporting:
- Review the upload reporting requirements document to determine readiness for implementation within your organization.
- Respond to these three questions to indicate your organization’s level of readiness for adding Roth to DCP on October 1, 2023.
State agencies or HRMS reporting: DRS is working directly with HRMS to prepare your payroll reporting for Roth. Please review this Roth FAQ.
Please complete these actions on or before February 10. We are gathering feedback from every DCP employer to ensure you are receiving the support you need for a successful Roth implementation. Additionally, DRS is working with a group of public employers to anticipate organizational needs for adding Roth.
This Roth FAQ provides additional background as well as the basics of Roth. DRS will be communicating with DCP customers about the Roth option starting this summer.
